If I Were A Minifig

If I were a minifigure, I would be 1.625 inches (4.13 cm) tall and weigh 3.4 grams. But to a minifig in the real world, I would be 280 feet (85 meters) tall and weigh 6,000,000 pounds (2,728,000 kg) or 3000 tons. If I were a minifigure, a human sized 12-ounce can of coke would weigh 9 tons (1.5 tons of which would be sugar) and contain 2250 gallons (8550 liters) or 40 bathtubs full of Coke. To a minifig, drinking the human equivalent of a six- pack of beer would translate to 435 minifig kegs. In minifig scale, the Empire State Building would be just under 33 feet (10 meters) tall. But to a minifig in the real world, the Empire State Building would tower 12.2 minifig miles (19.6 km) into the sky. In minifig scale, the Golden Gate Bridge would be 203 feet (62 meters) long, 2 feet (61 cm) wide, and 17 feet (5 meters) high. The center of the span would be almost 5 feet (1.5 meters) above the water. But to a suicidal minifig in the real world, he would have to fall 9,746 minifig feet (2.97 km) or almost 2 miles before meeting his doom 55 seconds later. In minifig scale, the Titanic would be just under 20 feet (6 meters) long, 25 inches (63 cm) wide, and 275 feet (84 meters) under water. Its top speed: 1027 mph (1645 kph) to a minifig in the real world or 0.5 mph (0.8 kph) for a minifig sized Titanic in the human world. In minifig scale, Indy 500 racecars would zoom along the track at 4.6 human miles per hour (7.4 kph). But to a minifig in the real world, Indy 500 racecars would break all landspeed records at more than 9000 minifig mph (14,400 kph). A minifig-sized 747 flying in the human world would be outpaced by a human runner. To a minifig in the real world, a human sized 747 would zip along at 24,000 mph (38,650 kph) - easily escaping the gravitational pull of the Earth and outracing most orbiting satellites. In minifig scale, an Olympic sized swimming pool would be 44 inches (113 cm) long by 22 inches (56 cm) wide by 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) deep. But to a minifig in the real world, an Olympic sized swimming pool would have a surface area of almost one square mile (2.5 square km), a depth of 290 feet, and hold more than 57,000,000 minifig gallons (218 million liters) of water. In minifig scale, the entire country of Luxembourg would easily fit in New York City's Central Park - almost three times. But to a minifig in the real world, Luxembourg would be about half the size of Canada. One acre of land in minifig scale would measure 180 studs by 180 studs. But a human-sized one acre parcel would be almost 3 square miles (7.5 square km) to a minifig.
